Business Tax Payments
Pay online or at one of our locations. Payments accepted in our offices by Cash, Check, Debit Card*, Visa*, MasterCard*, Discover*, American Express*, eCheck, Money Order, or Cashier's Check.
* A convenience fee will apply for all payments. This is a fee assessed by a third -party secure processor. The Tax Collector's Office does not retain any of this fee.
Business Tax Receipts
Every business in Seminole County is required to obtain a business tax receipt. A business tax receipt fee appropriate to the type of business is charged at the time the receipt is issued.
Going Out of Business
A Going Out of Business Permit must be obtained when a business, in such a manner, as to reasonably cause the public to believe that upon disposal of the stock or goods, will cease operation.
Business Tax Receipt Data
The New Business Data File can be used to create labels, or update an existing database. The New Business Listing is a printed list, mostly for clerical use only.
Business Filings
Current Corporation, Fictitious Name, Lien, Limited Liability Corporations and Partnership information, and additional forms may also be obtained by going to www.sunbiz.org.
